Good news: the exhibition on Arezzo's Minerva has been postponed to April 19th, 2009. The Minerva is one of the ancient, big bronze statues which were discovered in Arezzo where people have been working metals since the most remote times; the statue probably dates back to 3rd century BC and has been in Florence since 1588. After being studied and carefully restored for eight years, the Minerva is back in Arezzo to show her new beauty. www.laminervadiarezzo.it For any information about free guided visits to the Minerva please contact Gianna – e-mail - 3388454061 |
